• The Amex Defense Index (DFI) is an equal dollar weighted Index designed to represent a cross section of widely held, highly capitalized companies involved in providing systems, equipment and services to the United States government and its allies for the purpose of supporting military, defense and intelligence efforts. The component stocks operate in industry segments that include, but are not limited to, military aircraft manufacturing, shipbuilding, ground transportation, aerospace instrumentation and technology, specialized communication and radar systems, ammunition and weapon systems.
• SPADE(TM) Defense Index
  The ISBC, in cooperation with the American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) announced the launch of a new proprietary index to benchmark the performance of securities in the defense, homeland security, and space marketplace. The SPADE (TM) Defense Index, began publication on July 6 and has been assigned the symbol "DXS". Eligible companies are determined on a quarterly basis using a range of criteria including a market capitalization greater than $100 million; a minimum $5.00 daily price; average daily trading volume in excess of 50,000 shares; and quarterly revenues of at least $10 million.
